Wraith
The Wraith is a unique flying vehicle that serves as a decent underwater vehicle as well as giving the player very agile flight when taken out of water. It has very similar controls to the Eureka, but is much less effective for air travel.
Its recipe is unlocked from obtaining the Mobile Vehicle Bay.
Overview
The Wraith has primary modes: being when it is underwater and when its mid-air.
When underwater, the Wraith is about the same speed as a Seamoth, while behaving mostly the same. However, it much lower crush depth makes it much less effective at exploring most of The Crater.
It can be docked in both a Moonpool and Cyclops, though does exhibit odd bugs such as animations not working or using the sounds of the Seamoth when exiting. It cannot be colored using the when in a Moonpool, but can oddly still be named using it.
The Wraith can also be grabbed by Reaper Leviathans, but not Sea Dragon Leviathans. It will also warn the player if a leviathan-class lifeform is nearby.
When taken out of the water with significant speed, the Wraith will begin flight. In this mode, the steering system changes drastically. The player is still controls the vehicle via movement keys, but the turn of the vehicle is controlled via the players mouse in a new way. A new hud will appear in which the players mouse is marked by a circle and a crosshair is in the center. Moving the mouse away from the crosshair will cause the vehicle to turn in that specific direction. Keeping it their will cause a spin. If the mouse is centered, the vehicle will not turn.
When crashing into water, all the Wraiths speed will drastically halt and it will slow down.

The Alterra Wraith is a newly developed single-seater aircraft, that can also function as a submersible. It is the first Alterra aircraft to ever be usable as a submersible. It is also currently the most used single-seater general aviation aircraft developed by Alterra.
